Biography
BEDZ is an electronic music producer, sound designer and engineer from Seville, Spain based in Bristol, UK.
His musical influences vary from a wide range of different genres and styles: from the psychedelic rock and experimental flamenco that bands such as “Triana” or “Medina Azahara” assembled in Andalucía; to the most niche, experimental and avant-garde electronic music genres, specially the whole range of Breakbeat music, beginning from lo-fi hip hop/triphop, to the most technical and precise edge-cutting deep and techstep dnb, making usual stops around all the 2-step breakbeat, UK Garage, and different electro flavours.
His sounds are highly synthetic, due to the thriving feeling of searching and expanding his sonic palette. His knowledge on sound design helps him achieve unique and organic sounds. After more than 10 years making, analysing and studying music and sound, this artist is an all-round music composer, producer and engineer keen to fulfil deep messages, combining traditional and not-so-traditional compositional techniques with the wide variety of technology within synthesis and digital instruments creation.
After 4 years studying Sound Design for videogames, music and TV at dBs Music Institute in Bristol; this artist has not only acquired advanced and precise knowledge on the field thru independent research, but also a profound technical psychoanalysis of music and sound.
